Oh yeah that's coming up. I'm not sure if I will be going or not. I would only really go for Girugamesh but I don't really like them that much heh.

I wish we got RENTRER EN SOI or ClearVeil or something :(((((

xDD Yeah. I dunno, I go because I really like being around people who at least know what I'm talking about partially when I'm talking about music. Also I like dressing up. I'm gonna have to hack my hair up again, though.

The jrock panel is awesome, too.

I dislike girugamesh unfortunately. Although I'm still probably gonna get autographs and whatnot.

It would be fun to meet others, I still want to go to one of the Jrock Seattle meets :P I haven't been to Sakuracon in almost five or six years now. First time I went I could only go for a few hours so this may be awhole new experience for me. Down side is trying to get someone to go with me since most of my friends are all being laid off :(

Ack, that sucks. Dude, Sakura-con is sooo big now. I mean, I don't know how big it was six years ago since i was like 11 but whatever. It's pretty fun, I think you might enjoy it. I mean, I have tons of fun, and I dislike most anime, and the whole anime fandom. I still manage to love sakura-con. xD It's really turning into a japanese modern culture convention with an emphasis on anime.

Also, you should come to the meetups. xD I think you'd like them. I thought it would be a bunch of idiotic waps around my age being retarded, but it's not at all like that. Most of the people who've come (at least the times I've gone, since I missed 2 of them) are very mature, and closer to your age than mine. xD

I have a weird distance with my own generation, teenagers are usually the worst things ever, so it's really fun for me to talk about things I care about with people who don't constantly make sex jokes and racial jokes, etc. I mean, those things are fine, but for many teenagers it's all they ever say to eachother. xD

Ok, rambling. But yeah. I can't explain how much I encourage getting involved in these kinds of things. xD

When I had went that one time I was originally going to the Cherry Blossom Festival and Sakuracon happened to land on the same weekend. So I went for a little bit and watched some presentations on Bonsai Trees, Kendo and I remember we watched a special screening of some anime movie. I have friends that go almost every year but they're all really big anime fans, so I just assumed it was just an anime thing. I'll probably see if my art buddies will want to go. Always a chance to snag more copic markers, if not there is Uwajimaya bookstore to stop at :P

I try to go to the Jrock meets but the last few that have come up landed on a day I couldn't do. I don't think I can go to the Feb meet if it's going to be at Granite Falls. No way am I driving or taking public transit to Granite Falls LOL! I already absolutely hate driving to Redmond! Granite Falls would make me vomit in rage (wait what??)

When my living situation sorts itself out, I'll be in Redmond which is much closer to Seattle then Tacoma. Yet I'll still rely on public transit to get me to and from Seattle. /loves her flexpass

Public Transit is a good thing, but I understand your point. xD I wouldn't wanna take the bus from Tacoma to Seattle or Redmond.
I don't know why (probably because I'm a Seattleite) but I've always really disliked Tacoma.

The bookstore in Uwajimaya is seriously godsend. I'm so glad I live where I do, it's only 20 minutes away by bus. I used to buy Cure monthly, but I don't have any money anymore. I need to get a job really bad, but it's so hard in this economy, in addition to no one wanting to hire a 16-year-old besides a grocery store.

As for going to Granite Falls, I think we might be meeting up in Seattle before going there, since there are some minors who regular the meet-ups (which is pretty much just me and these two other girls) and I don't know crap about getting up there. xD

I think Granite Falls is north of High Way 2/Gold Bar. The furthest I have ever driven was to go camping once in well Gold Bar. My car is also old and while I do my best to take care of it, it'll be a sad pathetic situation if it breaks down way the hell up there. Also gas is $$$ and that takes away from my funds going towards my future car! :(

As for Public Transit, I voted for more mass transit! I normally take the ST buses and on weekdays there seems to be so many of them running it's not that big of a deal if you miss it. The train is great too, it takes a little longer then the ST bus but it's never as crowded going north in the evening and it's a nice relaxing ride.

The train stops a short walk away from Uwajimaya so I occasionally stop there. I try not to always buy Cure and Shoxx magazines and try to limit myself to just purchasing issues featuring artist but normally I find myself being bad (laughs). I should just buy a subscription but meh...

Yeah, it really sucks when cars break down. xD It's happened to me many-a-time.

I was thinking about buying a subscription. I love that magazine a lot xD I'm sad that I can't purchase it anymore.

I know that but I CAN WISH! :(

D; yeah. What a sad thing. I wasn't a big fan, but I recognized that they were a very good band. It seems like they disbanded way early, but i guess if it's how they felt things should be it might have been for the best.

Yeah. Satsuki was the main reason I liked the songs I liked to. I really hope he does something cool.

I thought you were tired of doing VK? Unless I missed something on -Scape- lately because I haven't been there for a few days and have decided to stop frequenting there.

Gilgamesh is about the only thing I'm looking forward to at SC, haha.

xD Yeah, well, I'm tired of doing it every day. but occasionally is okay.
